Your Google Ads script
Three things to know about the script that connects your account: how to add it, how to check it ran, and what an authorization warning means.
1
Step
Copy the script, then in Google Ads go to Tools → Bulk actions → Scripts → + → New script, paste it in, click Authorize, set Frequency to Hourly, and Save.
Tip Keep the Frequency set to Hourly — that is what keeps your exclusions fresh.
2
Step
Open Scripts → History to see when the script last ran and whether it succeeded.
Tip If the last run is older than an hour, the frequency is probably not set to Hourly — open the script and fix it.
3
Step
"Authorization required" just means the script was pasted in but hasn't been authorised yet — open it, click Authorize, then Save.
Tip Nothing is blocked until the script is authorised, so there's no risk in taking your time here.
